Here at ��������ϲʿ����� Selwyn in Rotorua, we have a generously wonderful Nan named ‘Noni Pat’.
��
She contributes to our place of learning through cooking a hot meal for our tamariki to enjoy every Friday, sharing her home recipes as she bakes with the tamariki, getting her hands mucky in our māra, doing our washing on a weekly basis and just coming in and spending quality time with us.
��
Noni Pat shares a very special place here within our whānau, so much so she is now “Noni Pat” to all. The tamariki really enjoy her presence and the time she spends with them. The kaiako value her endless support and are very grateful for her involvement in our kindergarten.

Here are some photos of “Noni Pat” baking some fabulous banana muffins with our tamariki for afternoon tea. Well, it’s safe to call them fabulous muffins as the baking went down a treat!.
